After breakfast at the Cliff top and a walk to the ferry with Mag,it was too nice a day not to give it ago.Being low water, the R.Deben river mouth and Bawdsey bay looked good for blasting with the offshore wind making the sea flat.Rig choice was a nightmare as I was rigging in a sheltered area but went for 8.5 on the longboard but in warmer weather would have gone for 7.5 on the Xantos, but I had no intension of falling in if I could help it !!! and played it safe with big kit.I spent most of the time reaching up and down Bawdsey bay in the flat water and 1/2 a mile or so out to sea in the chop. It's a great spot to sail in this direction being abit more west than yesterday and it was like having my own personal speed strip,it's a shame you can't access it from Bawdsey as the wind is cross shore from this beach and you could use smaller gear easier !!!
Still a great 1hr 45mins out all by myself !!!
